    Hi Adarxx.

    As Havoc may have mentioned, a triage alt is non-negotiable and in the case of being accepted you will be required to inject one at that moment.

    There can be a short grace period for dread alt, but it is a requirement that has to be fulfilled.

     

    Answer my question as you seem intelligent enough to nullify your HK.

    Are you one of -those- people that fit a sebo on every ship instead of a useful mod?

    Also why tripple nano, 1 BCU and no neut on Orthrus?

    Adversity. [AVRSE] Application For Membership

     

     

    This thread outlines the procedure you must follow to in order to be considered for approval by our recruitment team.


    Steps you have to take:

    • Join our public channel: 2poc cafe.
    • Hang out for a bit and chat to people. This is a great moment to confirm your sponsors. No sponsor = no entry.
    • Make sure you satisfy the requirements listed in Section A of this thread.
    • Make a forum account with your main's name.
    • Enter the FULL API Key (no expiry) for all your accounts into auth. Corp API's for the corps you have Director/CEO. ->Send another set to the recruiter<-.
    • Follow the guidelines of section B.


     


    Section A - Membership Requirements

    • We troll and make fun of each other all the time. If you think that you cannot handle jokes/language/comments then do not apply at all. We offer NO SAFE SPACES.

     

    • Working, sexy sounding microphone
    • 18+ years old
    • Minimum of 50 million skill points (unless you can convince us you're worth it)
    • Active killboard (case by case basis, 1000+ kills is a good baseline)
    • Killmail quota: much like AVRSE members have to get some metric of activity, you have to do that, too. The old "But I will be active this time" doesn't cut it. If you haven't been active in your last corps, you probably won't be it now. 100 across a rolling 2 month period, which is pretty easy.
    • You must own an Apostle, have Logistics skill 5, JDC 5, all that stuff.
    • You must have useful alts that can fill various roles. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DUAL BOX during a fleet; a scout, a cap alt, a cyno alt, a spy alt. 
    • Big rule here: Be something other than a useless F1 shitter.

     

     

    Section B - Forum Application Form

     

    Create a new thread with your name and application. Ex: Koenig Yazria - Application
    For the forum application, copy and paste the questions below onto your thread, and answer underneath them. Use good formatting so that we aren't blinded by a wall of text!
    Answer the questions that will be asked.

    1.) Who is your main and how many skillpoints does he/she have? Link to a killboard as well.


    2.) List your ALL your alts and provide a one-liner for what they do.  HK's / spies send them via forum message to Koenig Yazria or Ivy Lash.

     

    3.) Do you have anyone to vouch for you in glorious Adversity. space guild ? 

    •  What is your relationship with your vouch? i.e. How do you know him/her?
    • Do you know anyone else in AVRSE or in other PL corps who can speak for you?


    4.) Tell us about your eve history. With details. Pictures are optional.

     

    5.) What is your current corp/alliance, and why are you leaving it?

    • Give us the story.
    • Not the generic one everyone posts in a recruitment thread.

     

    6.) Why do you want to join Adversity.? 
     
    7.) If you join, you are not allowed to be poor like Jousake. Can you afford our doctrines? How do you make your ISK?
    - What if we tell you that just for jokes you are going to buy 5b(insert relevant large sum of ISK) in doctrines above the aleady considerable alliance stock ?

     

    8.) What sort of capital assets do you possess?

     

    9.) Can you fly a FAX and T2 triage ON A ALT ? Do you have a dread ALT ?


    10.) Have you FC'd before? If yes, what kind of fleets?

     

    11.) What area of Eve are you lacking ? What are you trying to do to improve that ?

     

    12.) We are doing a small gang nano roam, what ship would you bring? (your FOTM ship?) Explain why.


    13.) You are a young, starry-eyed pilot in Adversity. Coming home victorious from an epic battle against the turk forces, you dock your vessel and and the fleet stands down. Do you a.) repair/refuel/rearm your ship so it's ready to go next time, b.) post 'le dank memes' on reddit about the fight you just had, or 3.) immediately log off and play ARMA III until the next ping?

     

    14.) There is a nearly unbearable person in corp (we will call him Mack) that has his glimpses of genius. You jump through a gate with your multiple billion Cynabal that is a really bad gimmick. Awaiting you are a Ashimmu, Keres and 5 Svipuls. Mack is the only person that can save you. Do you sqeal for his help and bear the shame of having to listen to him rescueing you for months or do you take it like a man and get laughed at by the rest of the corp because you flew a true shitfit and died quietly?

     

    15.) You are a stupid euro and ended up on a late move op with your alliance, in an Aeon, with only 2 other supers, 2 titans, and a small number of Archons with you. You jump the first gate and several dics appear bubbling you, soon a cyno goes up and lots of nasty looking Machariels and dreads come pouring through. You switch to your anti-tackle tab and notice there are only like 4 dics and 2 HICs on grid, but FC is screaming for supers not to aggress while the support fleet eats shit to the hostile Machariels, and hostile dreads pound through archon after Archon. The dumb euro FC then tells HIC-pointed caps to jump back through the gate. What do you do?


    16.) Link 3 kills that are special to you. Explain us how you were the one setting them up and what borderline game mechanic was used to achieve the feat.

     

    17.) Link a fleet doctrine that you have used or would want to use and explain why its a good one. Don't just pull one of our losses and claim it's a doctrine you used.


    18.) Post an image of your favorite cute girl. You will be judged heavily for this. Bonus points are awarded for originality; posting Taylor Swift, while cute, will not win you any points.

     

     

    If you have one, your sponsor MUST post in your application thread confirming their vouch.

     

     


    A small note:
    If you are expecting real life to interfere heavily with your EVE time in the first few weeks of your trial, please wait until you have some time to dedicate to the game before applying or accepting your invite! 
    We will examine your participation, competency, and desire to integrate into the community heavily during the first few weeks, so don't apply unless you're ready to show us what you've got. 
    If you fail to stage within a few days of joining chances are we are just going to purge you and then not give you a second chance. 
    Adversity is a community of friends playing games, working together, and supporting each other, not just a place to log in and pad your killboard. 
    Making an effort to get to know us and being active in IRC, forums, and mumble will greatly improve our impression of you and also your overall enjoyment in the corp.
